EDDYCON D multi-channel eddy current flaw detector

Rail durability and reliability are crucial in the railroad industry, as defects can lead to breakage or crashes, impacting safety. To monitor and evaluate rail condition, OKOndt GROUP has introduced the 16-channel double rail eddy current flaw detector ETS2-73, designed for manual testing to detect surface cracks. The ETS2-73 complies with EN 16729-2 standards and can test rail tracks, switches, and major rail profiles (49E1, 54E1, 60E1) for defects such as transverse fatigue cracks, quenching cracks, delamination, and wheel burns.
